Cricket Skills Coaching

Today we had a skills coach from New Zealand Cricket come to Kaniere School. Along with Room 5 we practised our cricketing skills. We played tag, practised catching and a little bit of batting. It was lots of fun.

We are learning about patterns

There are two different types of pattern: repeating patterns start again, the days of the week are a repeating pattern, and growing patterns, we count forward using a growing pattern. We read the Pitterpats, they have patterns on their feet. We made repeating patterns with the stamps. We noticed growing patterns in the pages of our reading books. Help us to find patterns at home.
